Bailey Named to Health Law Section Council

Dennis Bailey, a partner at the law firm of Wall Esleeck Babcock LLP, based in Winston-Salem, has been appointed to the Health Law Section Council of the North Carolina Bar Association. He will serve a three-year term.

Bailey offers more than 27 years of litigation experience and handles a broad range of litigation matters through trial and appellate review, including medical malpractice defense, business and banking disputes, premises liability claims, and serious personal injury claims. He also represents health care professionals in licensing board matters.

Bailey has been AV rated by Martindale -Hubbell since 1999 and has been named to Best Lawyers every year since 2007, including being named as the Greensboro Personal Injury Litigation Lawyer of the Year in 2012. He was admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court in 2008 and is a frequent speaker for Continuing Legal Education and at various symposia for health care providers and medical groups.

A native of Danville, Virginia, he received a J.D. degree from the Wake Forest University School of Law in 1985 and a B.A. degree in philosophy/religion from Elon College in 1982. Bailey has been a member of the North Carolina Bar Association since 1988, including the Litigation and Health Law Sections. Additionally, he has been a member of the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys since 2001.
