Broad Street Alpha Mart Robbed at Gunpoint

On Tuesday at approximately 6:35pm patrol Officers with the WSPD responded to an armed robbery at the Alpha Mart located on S. Broad Street.

According to the clerk, two black males wearing black clothing and black masks entered the business and demanded money. One of the suspects was armed with a handgun and used it to rob the clerk while the other suspect was on lookout. After robbing the clerk the suspects fled the area on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The clerk at the business was uninjured during this incident.
