Accidental Shooting Leads Man to File a False Report in Cover-up Attempt

On Tuesday night at approximately 11:59pm, patrol officers with the WSPD responded to reports of a shooting on the 100 block of N. Cleveland Avenue. When they arrived on scene, officers located two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. 25 year-old Tyshonne Lamar Woods was transported to Baptist Medical Center where he was treated and released. 27 year-old Tyon Arkese Walters was also transported to Baptist Medical Center where he reamins hospitalized in critical condition.
According to authorities, the incident stemmed from an altercation between the suspect (Decribed only as a 20 to 25 year-old black, male.) and a resident of the home on CVleavland Ave. Neither of the victims redided at the home.
