AIDS Care Service (ACS) will host Dining with Friends, the signature community event for the organization, on May 2, 2015, . Individual supporters will hold parties throughout the day and ask guests to bring monetary donations for ACS. There is no minimum donation amount. The event will conclude when party hosts and their guests converge at the Old Salem Visitor Center for the Grand Dessert Finale.
ACS is “Proud as a Peacock” of all the community members that make it possible for them to provide life-changing services to their clients living with HIV and AIDS. This year’s theme “Stand Out” encourages party hosts to think outside the box when planning parties.
Supporters may choose to host an intimate formal dinner party for eight or a picnic-style potluck for 100. Hosts should pick up their invitations and information packets at 6th and Vine between 4:00 and 7:00PM on Tuesday, March 24, 2015.
The Grand Dessert Finale will take place on May 2, 2015 at 8:00PM at the Old Salem Visitor Center (900 Old Salem Rd.) in Winston-Salem and is open to the community. The evening will feature dancing to the tunes of Karon Click and the Hot Licks and a guest DJ, complimentary desserts and coffee from around the city, a beer and wine cash bar, and more.
All Dining with Friends party hosts and guests receive complimentary admission to the Grand Dessert Finale.
