Early voting opened in North Carolina today, and here in Forsyth County, it kicked off at the Board of Elections in the County Government Center Downtown. Voting will continue exclusively at this location until October 27th, when satellite locations will open around the county.

Watch this quick video to learn more about when and where you can vote.

Voters can get estimated wait times as well as directions to the various poll locations by visiting this website.

Please note: If you have children in WS/FC Schools, they will NOT be in school on Election Day, November 8th. Please take this into account as you plan when you will cast your vote.

Also, remember to vote all the way through the ballot. Some very important bond issues are on the end of the ballot this year which will allow us to invest in education and our community.
