The Winston-Salem Police Department is pleased to announce thier first Coffee With a COP event. The purpose of this event is to allow citizens and officers an opportunity to sit down with each other to discuss items of mutual concern and get to know each other better. By doing this, the WSPD hopes to build safer and stronger communities, while enhancing trust between citizens and officers.
Whole Foods Winston, located at 41 Miller Street, is providing the space and free coffee from 8:00-10:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 25th, 2017. Whole Foods will also have some light finger foods on hand while supplies last.
The WSPD is inviting residents to stop by any time during these hours to enjoy a free cup of coffee and some conversation with the officers that serve you each day.
