UPDATED: Traffic Alert- Accident Shuts Down Parts of 5th Street Downtown

According to the WSPD, due to an accident at Research Parkway and 5th Street, the following streets will be closed until further notice:

5th Street East and West from Metropolitan Drive to Patterson Ave. Research Pkw North and South from 4ht Street to 6th Street.

The police are asking citizens to exercise caution as they travel in this area.
