According to the WSPD, all westbound lanes of U.S. 421/Business I-40 at Reidsville Road have been closed due to multiple vehicle collisions that have completely blocked the roadway. The duration of the closure is expected to be approximately 2-3 hours.
Motorists are encouraged to utilize an alternate travel route and not to travel any further westbound on U. S. 421 than the Linville Rd. Exit or they may be stuck in stopped traffic for an extended period of time.
