FLASH:
WSPD have confirmed that they are investigating a reported shooting at Carver High School. The school is currently locked down. CCD is currently working to gather information. Please check back for details. As many as 30 officers are on scene.
UPDATE:
One victim is reported to have sustained non-life threatening injuries and one suspect is reportedly in custody.
The football game scheduled for tonight between Carver High and RJR High is reported to have been postponed due to the shooting and subsequent investigation. (CONFIRMED – the football game has been postponed. No info on rescheduling.)
UPDATE:
The lockdown is being lifted and students will be released to travel home through their normal method. Buses are reported to be running but may be delayed.
WSPD have instructed parents of students who normally pick up their students by car to go to the Carl Russell Recreation Center to pick up your children.
